Volunteers Needed!

We are currently looking for people who would like to be a volunteer for the upcoming ClayFestival this June 23rd and 24th, 2007. We will need people to booth sit for vendors while they have lunch or take breaks, help the invited artists during their demonstrations, direct and give information to visitors, help the vendors set up and take down their booths, etc. This will be a great opportunity to meet some fellow Houston-area potters, get an inside view of what it takes to put together and run a booth in a craft show, besides getting to see lots of wonderful pottery and sculpture and their makers. You don't even have to be a "clay person" to be a volunteer!

The festival will run from 10am to 5pm on both days with a set-up day on Friday afternoon. If you can work a half-day, whole day, or the whole festival, We'd like to talk to you! There will be an orientation meeting for all volunteers before the event to explain the duties of each volunteer job.
