With the Greater Houston Clay Community

Since November 2005, over 100 Southeast Texas ceramic artists have come together in bi-monthly public meetings and an online forum to share ideas and information.

Upcoming Events

NEW! Be sure to put the upcoming Hanson Galleries show, "Out of the Earth," on your calendar - opening September 29th, 6-8 PM. The show features ClayHouston member artists and will be held in both of the Hanson Galleries venues. However, the opening will be at their Uptown Park location: 1101 - 10 Uptown Park Blvd., Houston.

During this meeting we will have a guest speaker, Donna Milstein of Hanson Galleries, who will give a talk entitled: How to Market your Work to a Craft Gallery / Store

After Donna’s talk we will discuss the following ClayHouston activities:

• Volunteer planning and Q&A regarding 9/29 Hanson Galleries show
• Exhibition opportunities for a Fall ClayHouston show
• Current non-profit status of ClayHouston
• Volunteers for Nominating Committee
• Upcoming November workshop

Everyone is invited to attend, and please bring some munchies to share with everyone during the “business” portion of our meeting.

We have created a free online discussion forum with Yahoo Groups where people can share questions and ideas or post events on a group calendar (calls for entry to shows/festivals or upcoming exhibits).
